Nina and Tom's Wedding at The Red Barn, Norfolk
Nina and Tom’s wedding took place at The Red Barn in Norfolk, a gorgeous venue tucked away between King's Lynn and Downham Market amidst the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Their day began at their lodgings around the corner, where Nina, her bridesmaids and her daughter were getting ready with the help of Keely Makeup and Callie from Kings Street Hair. With blush pink details, a princess dress to rival all princess dresses, and an abundance of flowers, the bridal prep was filled with colour and laughter.
After slipping into her gown and taking a few portraits outside, it was time to make our way to the barn. As Tom and his groomsmen waited anxiously inside, the girls gathered outside and excitement filled the air. Their ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful, with the fairy lights of the venue twinkling in the background and their guests watching on with happy tears in their eyes. It wasn’t long until we were back outside where the couple hugged and celebrated with their guests. Confetti and group photos came next, before I took Nina and Tom for a private walk for their couple photos as their guests enjoyed the garden games.
Soon after, it was time for the speeches, which were easily the most emotional part of the day, with the couple paying tribute to lost loved ones and thanking their guests for being part of their wedding. Back outside, everyone enjoyed canapes and drinks as the sun slowly set. As dusk drew closer, the room was turned around and the DJ set up for their first dance. Nina and Tom twirled together with their guests watching from the side, before everyone piled onto the dancefloor for some eagerly-anticipated dancing of their own.
I had so much fun photographing Nina and Tom’s wedding - they are beautiful people both inside and out, with equally fantastic friends and families that supported and uplifted them throughout the day. Emotional and intimate, their wedding was truly full of love. I couldn’t be happier for this wonderful couple and I wish them all the best. Congratulations, Nina and Tom!
