Harriet + Mark's Engagement Shoot at Whitlingham Park, Norwich

I’m pretty sure I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again - I love engagement shoots. It’s so great having the chance to not only meet my couples before their weddings, but also capture some beautiful photos of them being their natural selves with no pressure or audiences. It’s always particularly amazing to witness not just the love but also laughter that each couple shares.

I met up with Harriet and Mark at Whitlingham Park ahead of their big day at the end of April. We chose to wait until the late afternoon, when the sun was just turning golden and the park was quiet enough that we had it almost to ourselves. We wandered, chatted about their plans and caught up; Harriet and I were actually at sixth form together, and we had quite a few mutual friends throughout our teenage years. So not only do I get to photograph the wedding of a couple with enough effortless chemistry that every photo flowed naturally and seamlessly, it’s also the wedding of an old school friend - how awesome is that?
