2018: Year in Review

Well, it’s that time of year again. Christmas trees are up, there are office parties every night, and people are busy buying delicious food and amazing presents. It’s the end of the year once again - and what a year it’s been.

What can I say about 2018? I started the year off with only a few wedding photography bookings, because I was busy concentrating on my own wedding. By the end of November, I’d photographed 15 weddings, set up several styled wedding shoots, been published multiple places, had a variety of corporate work up my sleeve, and made so many connections with other local wedding suppliers - too many to count.

It’s been an amazing year for me. From warehouses to country estates; from freezing cold winter weddings to photographing on the hottest day of the year (and getting caught in an almost tropical storm on the drive home), it’s been incredible, and so memorable. Not only did I get to marry the love of my life this year, I got to watch so many other couples do the same. There is genuinely nothing more fulfilling than being part of such an important day in people’s lives, and being trusted enough to document it.

So, with that, here are my favourite photos from 2018.

I am so proud of what I have achieved in 2018, and absolutely can’t wait to see what adventures 2019 brings. While I am starting the year with more bookings than 2018, I do still have a selection of dates still available. Get in touch if you’re interested in booking!
